After lots of deliberation, I decided that my August 2021 bullet journal theme would be San Fransisco! Kinda fitting since I’m moving there later this week (check out all the info on that here). I’m not going to lie, I rushed my way through this month’s spread. It’s not my best work, but it ended up looking really doodle-y and fun, which I love! This spread is getting me so excited to move to San Fransisco, and I hope it gives you inspiration to make a San Fransisco (or any city that you love!!) bullet journal theme.

Layout
CALENDAR
The calendar features a city landscape that highlights lots of the different features of San Fransisco – the ocean, the colorful and unique houses, the beautiful nature, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY AND MOOD LOG
Going back to the basics this month with the highlight of the day spread and mood log spread. Last month, I did a super detailed and cool highlight/mood spread, but this month I wanted to tone it down and I love it! Everyday I’m going to fill out a highlight of the day and my overall mood(s) of the day.
WORKOUT TRACKER
I love the layout of this workout log, I make it in every month’s spread!
DAILY PLANNER
You guys probably get the drift by now – this is the layout I always use for all of my daily planner pages each month. It’s just looks great and fits everything and every plan I need to fit in there. The boxes are 9 dots wide x 13 dots tall. Try this layout, it’s fantastic!!
Although I made it quite rushed, I still love how this month’s spread turned out. I know it’ll make me so happy to look at each day as I navigate my first month living in San Fransisco!
I hope that this encouraged you to use a bullet journal and to make one of your monthly spreads a city theme! If you have any questions or comments, leave them down below! For more bullet journal spreads, content, and inspiration, check out this page!
